Happy Birthday Earth Day! Earth Day is an annual event on April 22 to demonstrate support for environmental protection. Earth Day was first celebrated in 1970! People do all sorts of activities that support the health of our dear Mother Earth. Activities such as stream clean-ups, planting trees, removing invasive species and gardening are all wonderful ways to celebrate.
